Early Mornings + Gratitude

Breanne Randall

Early Mornings
Baby woke up at the crack of dawn (again) so I bundled her up as much as I could (the child *hates* wearing coats) and we played outside. Visited Pop Pop and YaYa, then made our way to GG's (her Great Grandma). When we walked back inside, she smelled the Pine candle I had burning (Bath and Body Works = heaven) and she said, "It smells like Christmas in here!" I melted.

Gratitude
We were completely blown away by the response to our Black Friday Sale! I've been packaging orders like crazy while Logan cuts and stains hundreds of bracelets. Our workshop is in a bit of disarray, but it's the cheery kind that speaks of busy hands and grateful hearts. Every day we're totally stunned that this is our life. We get to create and share what we love with you. Thank you for allowing us to make our dream a reality!

Monday's Are For Real

Breanne Randall

It’s Monday. I’m alive. I’m breathin’. I’m livin’. I’m blessed. Life is good.

That quote is an amazing mantra. A good reminder. Because after a sleepless night with a sick baby who slept in our bed for the second time in as many years, I've got dark circles under my eyes and haven't removed my Pink sweatshirt for two days. Just bein' real, guys. No makeup. No shower. A daunting To Do list.

When Sicky McSickerson (aka Evelyn) went down for her nap, the last thing I wanted to do was work. But, I pulled myself up by invisible boot straps and forced myself to go down to the workshop, put on Christmas music, and get ish done. And you know what? A cool thing happened. I totally got into "The Groove." I had fun and felt good about the work I got done. And remembered that this amazing business allows me to stay home with my awesome husband (who was profuse with the compliments today, which was great) and sweet baby.

Me - all day. Coffee, I love you. That is all.

Me - all day. Coffee, I love you. That is all.

All that being said, here's a sweet image I look back on when Monday's are blue. To a time where I felt like a real human and there were no sick babies in my life.

Thanks for stopping by and reading our first ever blog post! Not going to lie, I'm totally terrified of blogging. But hey - gotta start somewhere, right?! Leave a comment and say hi to us so we can feel like big shots! (:
